Tuesday, 9/2:  Begin Module 1, Topic 2, “Recognizing Patterns and Sequences” with Lesson 1.  Lesson 1 Assignment will be assigned, Due on Thursday

Wednesday, 9/3:  Module 1, Topic 2, Lesson 2.  Lesson 2 Assignment will be assigned.  Due by Friday.

Thursday, 9/4:  Skills Practice Day.  Students will practice from skills book and may also have some time to ask questions and work on the assignments for Lessons 1 & 2.  Short Quiz at the end of the class.

Friday, 9/5:  Begin Module 1, Topic 2, Lesson 3

Now, some important information, if you please.

1. Our first test was on Friday.  You should see that in Skyward as “T1”.

2.  This is a raw score.  Since it was an online DMAC test, the computer scoring sometimes scores a bit more robotic than I would.  While I have yet to do so, I do plan on looking through results and possibly adding some partial credit.

3.  If your student did not score above 70, he or she can attend tutorials and, when I feel that there has been sufficient remediation, I will allow a test boost (basically a short, quiz-like assessment) that can get their grade up to a 70.

4.  Unfortunately, I have morning cafeteria duty this week, so I cannot remediate before school.  However, I will be available after school daily.  I will be available before school next week.

5.  The deadline for remediation and test boosts for this test will be Thursday, 9/11.

6.  Our TOPIC 2 Test is tentatively scheduled for 9/11, and we will begin the remediation/test boost cycle for that test.
